Finding the right tee
How do I find a tee I’ll like?
Start on the Shop page. The pills along the top split everything by collection, or tap All Tees to see every design at once. The filters down the side narrow it by colour and size.
How do I pick my size?
Every tee is printed on the same blank, a Comfort Colors 1717: unisex, with a relaxed fit. The quickest way to choose is to lay a tee you already love flat and match it against the Size Guide.
Between sizes? Size up for a roomier fit, down for a closer one.
How do I know what the shirt is made of?
100% ring-spun cotton, 6.1 oz, garment-dyed. Garment dyeing means the shirt is dyed after it’s sewn, which is why it arrives soft rather than stiff. More on the Materials & Care page.
How do I understand why my colour looks a little different?
That’s the garment dye. Shades vary slightly between production runs, so two shirts in the same colour bought months apart may not match exactly. It’s part of the lived-in look, not a fault.
How do I save a tee for later?
Tap the heart on any tee. The heart at the top of every page opens your saved tees, and the Favorites page shows them all.
Favorites are kept in this browser on this device, so they won’t follow you to another phone or computer.
How do I share a design with someone?
Open the tee and tap Share. On a phone you’ll get your usual share options; on a computer you can copy the link.
Ordering
How do I check out?
Tap Add to Bag, open your bag, and tap Checkout. Checkout is run by Shopify, which is where you enter your shipping and payment details. The payment options shown there are the ones we accept.
How do I use a discount code?
Enter it in the discount field at checkout, before you pay.
How do I sign in to my account?
Tap the person icon at the top of the page (or Account on a phone) and sign in with your email. Shopify sends you a one-time code, so there’s no password to remember.
How do I see my orders and saved addresses?
Sign in and open your account. It has tabs for your orders, profile, saved addresses and favorites.
How do I change or cancel an order?
Get in touch as soon as you can through the Contact page, with your order number. We print in small batches and orders move quickly, so sooner really is better.
Shipping & returns
How do I find out what shipping costs?
Standard shipping is free on US orders over $75. Everything else (rates under $75, express, and international) is on the Shipping & Returns page.
How do I track my order?
You’ll get a tracking email as soon as your label prints. Nothing after 48 hours? Check your spam folder, then let us know.
How do I return or exchange a tee?
Returns and exchanges are free within 30 days of delivery, on tees that are unworn and unwashed. The Shipping & Returns page walks you through it.
How do I get help with a damaged or wrong item?
Send us a photo through the Contact page within 7 days of delivery and we’ll send a replacement or a refund. You don’t need to ship the wrong one back.
Caring for your tee
How do I wash my tee?
Machine wash cold with like colours. Tumble dry low or hang it to dry. No bleach, no dry cleaning.
If it needs ironing, turn it inside out and keep the iron on cool, off the print.
How do I keep the print looking new?
Less heat is the whole trick. Wash cold, and air-dry when you can. It’s the easiest way to keep both the print and the shirt going for years.

How do I order tees for a group?
The team, the class, the book club, the wedding party: tell us what you’re planning on the Contact page. Roughly how many people and when you need them is plenty to start.
How do I get a one-of-one custom?
Describe the piece you’ve been picturing on the Contact page and we’ll talk it through with you.
How do I carry Kindling Threads in my shop?
Choose Wholesale & Stockists on the Contact form and tell us a little about your shop.
How do I hear about new designs first?
Join the Stay Kindled list at the bottom of any page: first looks at new designs and the occasional discount.
